Earl Brewer
Chairman and Director

Mr. Brewer is the Chairman of Plazacorp Retail Properties Ltd. Prior to assuming this role he was President and CEO of Plazacorp Retail Properties from its inception in 1999. Also, he was Chairman of Greenarm Corporation and Greenarm Management, principally involved in office building development. Mr. Brewer has extensive experience in the real estate business commencing in 1984. Mr. Brewer has served the public in many capacities with organizations including Board of Governors, University of New Brunswick; Director, Atlantic Salmon Federation; and Honorary Consul for Sweden. Mr. Brewer currently serves on the Boards of the New Brunswick Investment Management Corporation and the Atlantic Salmon Conservation Foundation.

Michael Zakuta
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Zakuta entered the real estate development business on a full time basis after obtaining his law degree from the University of Montreal and a business degree from McGill University. Mr. Zakuta is a co-founder of the Plaza Group and has been involved in every aspect of shopping centre development, acquisitions and management in Quebec and Atlantic Canada since 1986.

Richard Hamm
Director

Mr. Hamm has a background of over 25 years in the financial community and has been involved in all facets of the business ranging from sales and marketing to capital management. He is presently a partner of BristolGate Capital Partners Inc. and a principal of Stepp Three Holdings Ltd. In 1996 he formed a partnership with the other Plazacorp principals and has since that time been involved in real estate development business. Mr. Hamm continues to be actively involved in many charities including the Art Gallery of Ontario and Regent Park.

Stephen Johnson
Director

Mr. Johnson is the President and C.E.O. of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust (CREIT) one of Canada’s most respected real estate trusts. Prior to assuming the leadership role at CREIT in 1996, he was president of D.S. Marcil Inc. and a vice president and director of RBC Dominion Securities Inc. Mr. Johnson’s extensive experience and contribution as a Board member since the Company went public in 1999 has been a tremendous asset for Plazacorp.

Edouard Babineau
Director

Mr. Babineau is an active and highly respected entrepreneur and is currently the President and CEO of Babineau Holdings Ltd, President and CEO of Prince Edward Island Capital Inc. (venture capital) and is also a shareholder and director in various other business ventures including real estate development (housing), golf course ownership, and a technology industry management software company. His extensive business experience includes President and Owner of Babineau Fisheries Ltd, Souris Seafoods Ltd, International Seafoods Ltd, and Northumberland Seafoods Ltd, (an international marketing company). Mr. Babineau is also actively involved in the community as a founding member and Governor of PEI Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame. Previously, he served a six year term as a Board member of Holland College.

Barbara Trenholm
Director

Ms. Trenholm is a professor emerita in the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick. She is a member of several boards, including Atomic Energy of Canada. She has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and co-chair of the University of New Brunswick Board of Pension Trustees. Ms. Trenholm is also a past president of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Denis Losier
Director

Mr. Losier is President and Chief Executive Officer of Assumption Mutual Life Insurance Company of Moncton and also Chairman of Assumption Life's real estate subsidiaries and Louisbourg Investments. He is a member of several Boards, including Canadian National Railway Company, NAV Canada, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick Limited Partnership, the Security and Intelligence Review Committee, Canadian Blood Services and is Chair of Invest NB. Mr. Losier previously served as a Member on the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly and held several cabinet positions during his tenure.

Floriana Cipollone
Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Cipollone has 20 years of business experience most recently as Chief Financial Officer for Charter REIT. Previously, Ms Cipollone held the positions of Vice President, Corporate Planning & Strategy at O&Y Properties Corporation and Vice President, Finance at O&Y Real Estate Investment Trust. Ms. Cipollone holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario since 1992.

Jamie Petrie
Vice President and General Counsel

Mr. Petrie joined the Plaza Group in 2004 as Secretary and Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining Plazacorp, he practiced law as a partner with Stewart McKelvey Stirling Scales in Fredericton. He belongs to both the New Brunswick and Alberta bars, and is an active member of several CBA and Law Society committees. Mr.Petrie holds B.B.A. and LL.B. degrees from UNB and a Masters in Law from Duke University.

Kimberly Strange
Secretary and Corporate Counsel

Ms. Strange joined the Plaza Group in 2007 as Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining Plazacorp, she practiced law as an associate with Stewart McKelvey in Fredericton. She is a member of the New Brunswick bar, has been an active member of various CBA committees, and is the President of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association, New Brunswick branch. Ms. Strange holds a B.A. from Cape Breton University and an LL.B. degree from UNB.
